Washington is having to work to retrieve a dummy US Hellfire missile used for NATO training in Spain after it was reportedly sent to Cuba by mistake. America fears that Cubans may steal the advanced technology.
The mishap occurred in 2014, as the missile was mistakenly shipped from Europe to Cuba, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Although the device can’t do any damage, as it doesn’t contain any explosives, there are fears the Cuban government could share the technology with foreign powers, such as North Korea or China. A US official with knowledge of the situation, who wanted to remain anonymous, confirmed the mishap to AP.
Quite a few Nice after Rrmages
After the rain
Evening sunlight managed to break through those dense cloud for few minutes and again disappeared as I tried to chase that moment.
After several days of precipitation, California rain finally stops today. Santa must have bribed Indra ( Lord of the rain from Hindu mythology) for this window of better weather for the Christmas. Because after couple of days it is going to rain again.
Entire California observed prolonged rain and snowfall this week. I got to experience the mammoth of snowfall over the Mammoth mountain (100+ inches within 5 days) which was reportedly the largest in the records of past 53 years. Will be sharing the photographs from those snowy mountains and lakes shortly.

This is from NYC photo workshop just after Superstorm Sandy. I keep imagining Manhattan without us–the world without us even. The fragility of our urban world is a little scary. Hopeful thoughts to those who continue to suffer consequences of Sandy.

After heavy rain most of the morning, the sun suddenly came out and lit up these little yellow crocuses in our garden. How lovely to see some spring colour!

After-rain clouds – Golden Gate Bridge
The magic moment during the sunset time with the golden gate bridge after rain. First, I really like the sun ray through the clouds :), there is a small sail boat, there is a big ship under the bridge or "small", there are two birds in frame. Full of life feel. Overall, the best part was the texture clouds over the bridge after rain. It looks like a painting work to me.
On the other hand, you may see how the perspective view of these elements. These birds are large than that big ship ;), is is about 1/3 side of the bridge tower. I was at César Chávez Park to see this bridge in about 12 miles away from it. This is a long lens shot stitch work. My lucky snapshot of the day.

I would really like to start my own website, because there are so many people these days that are becoming internet famous, that I am just kind of jealous. I wish that I had tried to do this years ago, but it seemed so hard back then. Now it seems like all sorts of people are becoming internet famous and a lot of them are a lot less interesting than I am.
I am sure that a basic hosting package does not cost that much. I will not have a whole lot of traffic on my site to start out with.
At least, I do not anticipate having a whole lot of traffic on the site when it is first starting out. Rather, I think that it will take me a few months, at the least, to really get things going.
I do not have any idea how long it will take me to build the site either. I might have to get some help with the web design aspect of putting this site up. I am not very good with that sort of thing, to be honest. But I do have some really good ideas for the content of the website. That is where I think I will really shine, once everything is up and running and set up the way that I want it to be. I am going to have to take a break from typing this because my shoulders are really sore at the moment. I think that I slept on them wrong, or something like that. But I do know they do not feel very good right now.
It really isn’t hard to please me. I like to keep things simple, which is why I decided to switch providers for my TV programming. My cable company kept changing their channel packages, and I had to switch packages at least three times in the last couple of years. After the last time, I knew that I was not going to continue on with them if I could find something better. That is how I came to find http://www.directstartv.org/. I was looking at the options I had for satellite TV, and it did not take me long to figure out that DirecTV was the best option of all.
One of the main reasons I decided to go with them is because they are the exclusive carrier of the Sunday Ticket. I love watching football games every weekend during the season, but I don’t like having to watch what my local market dictates. There are some games that I would much rather watch, but the cable company just doesn’t have permission to show them. That is not the case with DirecTV. Continue reading
I knew that the Public Utility Commission of Texas was initially created to regulate the electric utility, but that was no longer a necessity when deregulation happened. I am grateful that this did not mean that the Public Utility Commission ceased to exist though. Even though they no longer needed to make sure that the energy company was not gouging any customers, they had another purpose as well, which was to help customers if they had a valid complaint against the energy utility. When deregulation happened, they were no longer the watchdog for consumers as far as pricing goes.
This is because each company selling the energy to consumers will be careful to not gouge. Continue reading
My children are home from school for the summer and I need to find something for them to do that will keep them occupied, because if they don’t stay occupied, they tend to drive me crazy. You see, I work from home, and so during the summer, I have a big challenge when it comes to getting my work done. I wish I could just lock myself in a room and isolate myself. But I am checking out airplane games 365 instead to see about buying some games for the computer for them to play, because that might be a good solution to my problems.
I am not really sure how well it will work out. But I will give it a shot, and I do think that my kids will like to play games involving airplanes. At least, as long as they are not so difficult that they can’t play them effectively. I want to get one of the games that is played with a realistic like joystick that looks like you’re really flying a plane or something.
I used to have one of those somewhere in the house but it is pretty old and I doubt it would work on any of the computers that we have in the house. I imagine that the drivers for it are not supported anymore, and so it is probably just trash. I guess I will look online to see if I can find a joystick to purchase for cheap to go with some of the airplane games that I intend to buy. I am going to have to ask them which game they would prefer for me to buy for them. But first I am going to read about some of the games I find and see what I think of each of them.

One of the reasons I decided to try PiYo is because of the workout schedule. I wanted something with a lot of variety, but I kept seeing the same workout routines with most of the programs I looked at. When I looked at a PiYo workout schedule review and saw how much variety there is, I knew that i had finally found the program that I wanted to use to get into better shape. There are a lot of things about PiYo that I really like, but the variety of workouts is what drew me in at first.
There is a 60 day workout calendar, which helps me to stay on track with where I am supposed to be. I am able to mark off the days so it is easy to see what I am supposed to be doing next. There are eight weeks in the calendar, and there six days in each week to work out. Fridays are the day of rest, which is perfect with the schedule that I maintain. Continue reading
Work has been stressful, but what else is new. I can’t wait until the weekend, because I am going to go away for a weekend at Atlantic City with some of my boys. I am going to get ripped and lose a lot of money, but it will be a blast, like it always is. I have to hire commercial roof installation in Bergen county NJ before the end of the day though, because my boss has told me that we are going to get a new roof put on the building, and that it needs to be done as soon as possible. I guess that there is some issue with leaking on the upper floor of the building. I wouldn’t know, because I never go up there.
But the boss man was pretty insistent that I get this scheduled by the end of the day today. He told me if I had not handled it, that I better not punch out until I do. Continue reading
If you keep a first aid kit at home, you should stock it with quality equipment. Do not just get the department store pharmacy items. They are okay for things like small gauze pads and stuff, but for things like large wound dressings, medical thermometers, BP cuffs, EMT scissors and other things, you should buy your stock from a different place. You will likely pay a lot less for things than you would at a pharmacy too. I like to stock up on a lot of flexible self-adhesive sports wrap. Well, there is a veterinary option that is a lot cheaper and works great. You can check out those farm stores for it.
Getting good stuff such as quality medical thermometers helps you gather accurate data. Consumer grade stuff does have a tolerance for error. Compare it to the tolerances for medical grade equipment. If you are just checking to see if your kid has a slight fever to decide whether or not to give acetaminophen or not, then a regular medical thermometer is okay. Continue reading
Some review sites are just lying to you when they rate companies. They consistently post good reviews for notoriously bad sites and that just is not right in my opinion. When you are looking for a review you should be able to trust that the reviews are legitimate. I mean if a company is going to buy reviews to try to trick you, just think of all the other things that they will do to you in the name of profit. Luckily you can find secure reviews for xfinity home. That means that these reviews were verified and you know that what they are telling you is a real first hand experience and not just some fictitious claim meant to slander the company. My brother lives right next door to my wife and I. We like to spend a lot of time together when we are not working. It is not uncommon for him to come over after dinnertime and the two of us drink a few beers and talk. When my wife asked me to get a plumber in Morris county NJ to come fix some plumbing trouble we had, I should have listened to her.
My brother and I had about 4 beers each downed easily by the time my wife told us that our entire basement was flooded. And that should have been out first clue that we should not try to deal with the basement situation on our own, but it wasn’t. Continue reading
When I first saw the advertisement that said it is possible to get home insurance in your area for a lower price, I wasn’t too optimistic about it. I was already getting a great deal from my local insurance company, or so I thought anyway. I didn’t do anything about it at first, because I thought it was just going to waste my time. When my neighbor, who is also one of my closest friends, told me that she had contacted this company and ended up switching, I knew that it was time to explore my options because she is not the type to switch companies easily.
She explained that when she called the company, it only took a few minutes for the rep to give her quotes from a number of different insurance companies. Continue reading
Roof maintenance can be an issue for anyone who owns a home, particularly if there are issues with leaking or the insulation. Luckily, there are some things you can do yourself. Read the following article for advice on taking care of your roof properly.
Always check the shades side of your home for deterioration of the shingles. The side that is exposed most to the sun lasts longer because the heat of the sun keeps the shingles lying flat. This prevents wind and rain from loosening the shingles, but shingles on the shaded side come loose sooner. When installing a new boot on any pipes which leave your roof, make sure they fit as snug as a bug in a rug. If they’re even slightly loose, water can seep inside of them, causing you a headache you don’t need. Choose the right size to spare yourself from problems down the road.
Make sure that you take the proper safety precautions before attempting to go up on your roof. Even if you think you are perfectly safe going up there without a harness, wear one anyway. It is also a great idea to wear shoes that have rubber soles since they will prevent you from slipping.
Roofing is a topic that homeowners must pay attention to. Problems occur when people do not know how to keep a roof in good shape. If you take advantage of the tips below, you’ll be able to keep your roof in good shape for a long time. An option that is both durable and friendly to the environment is a coated metal roof. Coated metal roofs are recyclable and are more energy efficient than traditional roofing materials. Coated metal roofs may actually be installed over asphalt roofing, which keeps you from adding waste to landfills.
When taking on a roofing job, make sure that you understand what you are doing, before starting the project. Taking a class at your local hardware store can prepare you for the job. Not understanding what you are doing can result in the job costing more than you ever intended. Remember that the area on the ground, just beneath your roof, is going to take a bit of a beating as your roof is replaced. If you have flowers or other shrubbery in that area, it might get damaged. There may be nothing your roofer can do to prevent it from happening, so try to avoid assigning blame.
If you want to save some money when your get a contractor then you should find one that has employees working for them. A group of roofers are going to perform the job much faster, which should lessen the total cost to you. If you are hiring a single roofer, be sure that you aren’t overcharged for labor. Don’t ever paint your roof, no matter how much you think it will improve in appearance. Older shingles may crack, look dark and otherwise take away from the beauty of your home, however; painting causes serious and permanent damage to the roofing system. Simply replace the old tiles or have the whole roof done, or wait until you can, rather than trying paint.
When your roof nears the time of needing a replacement, it is important to consider all of your options. Are there any repairs that can be done to postpone the replacement? If there are cheap repairs that can be done to prolong this, it may be worth it. This way you don’t have to spend a large amount of money quite yet. When your roof is leaking or damaged, it is too late to start learning about roofing. You need to learn as much as you can while your roof is still in good shape. Study the information from this article, so that you can get the roofing work you need done properly.

Plaza de Toros Bullfight and Folkloric Show Cancun, Mexico.
Bullfighting (also known as tauromachy, from tavromachia, "bull-fight"; or as corrida de toros in Spanish) is a traditional spectacle of Spain, Portugal, southern France and some Latin American countries (Mexico,Colombia,Venezuela,Peru and Ecuador ), in which one or more bulls are baited in a bullring for sport and entertainment. It is often called a blood sport by its detractors but followers of the spectacle regard it as a fine art and not a sport as there are no elements of competition in the proceedings. In Portugal it is illegal to kill a bull in the arena, so it is removed and slaughtered in the pens as fighting bulls can only be used once. A nonlethal variant stemming from Portuguese influence is also practised on the Tanzanian island of Pemba.
The tradition, as it is practised today, involves professional toreros (toureiros in Portuguese; sometimes wrongly called toreadors in English, which is a word made up by George Bizet for his opera Carmen), who execute various formal moves which can be interpreted and innovated according to the bullfighters style or school, toreros seek to elicit inspiration and art from their work and an emotional connection with the crowd transmitted through the bull . Such maneuvers are performed at close range, which places the bullfighter at risk of being gored or trampled. The bullfight usually concludes with the killing of the bull by a single sword thrust which is called estocada. In Portugal the finale consists of a tradition called the pega, where men (forcados) try to grab and hold the bull by its horns when it runs at them.
Supporters of bullfighting argue that it is a culturally important tradition and a fully developed art form on par with painting, dancing and music, while animal rights advocates hold that it is a blood sport resulting in the suffering of bulls and horses.
There are many historic fighting venues in the Iberian Peninsula, France and Latin America. The largest venue of its kind is the Plaza de toros Mxico in central Mexico City, which seats 48,000 people, and the oldest is the La Maestranza in Sevilla, Spain, which was first used for bullfighting in 1765.

Get your jewelry appraised. If you haven’t had your jewelry appraised, now is the time to have it looked at by a professional. Jewelry values can increase greatly over time, and home insurance won’t necessarily cover the value if it gets stolen. A home insurance policy tends to list a ‘set’ value for jewelry, and if you have any valuable pieces, they need to be listed separately. When shopping for a home and thus home owner’s insurance, consider the neighborhoods you are considering. Past claim rates for a neighborhood can affect insurance premium, especially if there is a high crime or vandalism rate leading to high volumes of claims. Being fully informed of the factors affecting insurance rates goes a long way towards keeping your premiums as low as possible. Pay off your entire mortgage before trying to get insurance for your home. This can help reduce your premium rates by substantial amounts. The reason for this is that insurance companies figure that their customers who own their homes are more likely to take better care of it, thus reducing the risk of problems. Before the weather gets cold, prepare your home for winter conditions to reduce the likelihood of damages caused by weather conditions. Below freezing temperatures can cause frozen pipes and other damages to your home, so taking the time to winterize your home can save you from home owner’s insurance claims related to weather damage. Did you know that quitting smoking can actually lower your home owner’s insurance premiums? Smoking is a great risk for accidentally causing damage or completely burning down your home, so it will increase your premiums if you smoke. Let your insurer know when you’ve quit smoking (how long you must have quit for will be up to them to tell you.)
Purchasing homeowner’s insurance can be a frustrating task; there are so many options to consider. What is the value of the property? How high should your deductible be? Is damage caused by natural disasters covered? These are a few of the questions you may have. A few tips from insurance experts are provided below to help you with your task. One way to save on your home owner’s insurance premium is to bundle this plan with anything else that you may have insured, like a car. Doing this will save you some money each month, and it is a simple process that will not take much effort on your part. Keep as many policies with the same company as possible to reduce your total premium. Many insurance carriers offer discounts for customers with multiple lines of insurance. If you keep your home owner’s insurance and auto insurance with the same carrier, you may reap a significant discount on both policy premium totals.
Homeowner’s insurance is similar to car or health insurance. The higher the deductible the homeowner agrees to, the lower the annual premium. Higher deductible comes with less claims, as smaller repairs, such as leaking pipes, broken windows are taken care of by the homeowner. Have a savings account with enough funds to pay for the smaller repairs your homeowner’s policy will not pay for.
You can lower your annual premium by 5% or more with the simple installation of a monitored security alarm. Whether it is connected directly to your local police station or the security company, this type of alarm saves property and people and will also save you a lot of money. Look for promotions from the major alarm system companies or call them directly to possibly negotiate a good deal.
To save money on your homeowners insurance, you should pay off the mortgage as soon as possible. Most companies will consider you a smaller risk when there is no debt against a property and you will take better care of the property. Look into how much faster you can pay the loan off, by refinancing at 15 years instead of 30.
Be careful about the value you consider when estimating your homeowner’s insurance needs. Replacement cost is the most important value to use in your estimates. If you do not specify replacement cost, the insurance company will pay you only the item’s purchase price less any depreciation, for belongings that were stolen, lost, or burned.
Raise your deductible to lower your home insurance premium total. Higher deductibles reduce the overall premium cost because it increases the threshold of claims where the insurance carrier is expected to pay. This means you may have to pay more out of pocket if minor damage occurs, but often the premium savings can offset the out of pocket expenses.
Don’t be afraid to ask your insurer for a better deal. Before changing your home insurance provider, call up to your existing insurer and ask if they can offer you a better deal. Insurance companies do not want to lose customers to their competitors, so this technique can quite often cut your annual premiums and save you the hassle of having to change providers.
Install and thoroughly maintain a security system in your home to get a discount on your homeowner’s insurance. Not only do the insurance companies see you as less risk and drop your premiums, but would-be crooks will see your system as a deterrent and choose to find someone else to rob.
If you’re about to turn 55, this is a great time to shop for a new homeowner’s policy, or at least ask your current insurance carrier for a policy review. Many companies offer discounts for senior citizens, starting with folks who are only 55. If your company doesn’t offer this discount, take the time to shop around.

If you’re in the market for a desktop computer, take some time to think about all the things you will want to use the computer for. You won’t need the most powerful computer out there if you only want to do basic computing tasks. If you’re planning on using your computer for something grueling like playing modern video game, you will want to make sure you get the necessary components.
What will you be using your computer for? It is important to buy a computer that fits your needs. If you will be using your computer to play games, what you need from your computer will be different from what you will need if you are planning on using the computer to write papers for school.
Are you in the market for a new desktop computer? Maybe you’re here because you would like to know more about this great piece of technology? No matter your reasons for being here, there is something for everyone to learn about desktop computers. Continue on to get educated about desktop computers. If you have shopped around online and in retail stores for your ideal computer and have not found it, consider ordering a custom build. Local independent shops and certain online firms specialize in making individual computer systems. The prices of such systems are comparable, and even sometimes cheaper than overpaying for what you don’t want to get what you do.
Do not allow yourself to worry. This article will make it easier for you to buy a great computer. You can print it and take it along for reference, too. If you need assistance, ask an employee to help you find the best computer for your needs.
So you arrived here in search of information about desktop computers. Maybe you’re in the market to purchase one, and you need good tips? Or perhaps you already own one and want tips about the computer itself? No matter the reasons why, there are great tips in the following article that anyone can use.
When looking for a computer system, keep an eye out for what kind of graphics chipset it has. Cheaper systems tend to have video cards that are called on-board, or integrated. This means it is actually part of the motherboard. You are going to get far better video quality and gaming from a dedicated video card that is attached in a slot.
Make sure you pay close attention to the additional items that are included when you buy a desktop computer. Many computer stores have options to purchase extra accessories. Be sure that you only buy what you need. Be sure to do your homework too. You’ll likely find these items cheaper online or at discount stores. Add-ons from manufacturers are generally vastly overpriced.
Before you buy a new desktop computer, decide on a budget that is comfortable for you. There are many options for desktop computers. You can pick the ones you need to put into a desktop package that fits the amount you can afford to spend. Check to see if you can add more RAM at a later time if you can’t afford it now.
Can you return the computer if it doesn’t work out for you? If not, there are better places to be making your purchase. Be sure to completely understand the return policies of the place you are buying from so you don’t end up with a device that is of no use to you. Set a timeframe for when you want to buy a computer instead of choosing one specific day you intend to make the purchase. If you give yourself a window of three or four weeks, you have time to keep an eye on flash sales, discounts and even new refurbished listings on websites for maximum savings. Use caution with the products you pick when you build a desktop. Some motherboards can only be used on certain processors. RAM won’t work with all motherboards either. Make sure all the products are compatible. When it comes to assembling a desktop computer of your own, this provides savings in the areas of time and money while also helping you avoid problems. When choosing a desktop computer take into consideration what you will be using it for. If you will simply be using it for web access and word processing, then you can afford to go cheaper. If you will be gaming you’ll want a graphics card, and more RAM. The task you’ll be using it for will be important in deciding your price point.
Finding the right computer shouldn’t be like looking for a needle in a haystack. In fact, with the right amount of confidence thanks to your knowledge of the topic, you should easily locate a computer quickly. Want to learn more? Check out the content found below, provided by your knowledgeable peers.
When buying a desktop computer with the intention of creating DVDs or CDs of your own, take care to verify that the model you are considering has an integrated disc burner. While most new versions will have this feature, failing to discover that a particular model does not can lead to great frustration. Try to save yourself the aggravation in advance.

By way of a personal history project, a scan of the back pages of my adolescent diary, where I wrote down, how did I put it, "All the groups Ive every seen." Apologies for my, um, iconoclastic spelling.
The first concert (or gig, as I might have said) was at the Rainbow in Finsbury Park, on Dec 17, 1977 (Yachts Blast Furnace and the Heatwaves The Boomtown Rats (I saw the Boomtown Rats the following year too. Too embarassed to write it down?). Lots of pogoing, not much gobbing, but the Boomtown Rats didnt really inspire that sort of thing. There were real punks in the audience, but the Boomtown Rats had appeared on Top of the Pops, and there were Rats fans too – girls wearing school uniforms (after their hit "Mary of the Fourth Form") and boys wearing pajamas (cause Johnny Fingers their keyboard player wore pajamas).

Sometime in 1980 or early 1981 I stopped writing down the bands I went to see. Probably because it started to seem a bit trainspotterish, or Id started having beers at concerts and couldnt be bothered to write things up when I came home, or I misplaced this notebook. So theres no record of seeing U2 two or three times (serious chaps with mullets), or the Birthday Party (who out of all these bands, and the competition is fierce, probably were the most extraordinary act live). I saw most of these bands in London, a few in Boston.
Note on the links: Ive linked to All Music a lot, hope that works. If not Ill go through at some point and find better links. Only Joy Division and Mission of Burma seem to have fans obsessive enough to list every performance of those bands. Im not surprised, Ive met some of those fans. There are a number of bands I saw which seem to have left no trace, (and I dont remember a thing about them). If any of these names are familiar to you (in the context of the late 70s), let me know.

With technologies that allow him to grow with each child, Edwin comes to life through unique stories and songs designed to create memorable experiences through learning, while also providing convenient features such as a bath temperature sensor, nightlight, waterproof BLUETOOTH wireless enabled speaker, and more.
Users can simply download the Edwin the Duck application for their iOS or Android device to access all of his capabilities.
Edwins silicone casing makes him an anytime toy. From the bathtub to the playground, he is perfect for wherever his next adventure takes him. Using a Bluetooth wireless connection, Edwin easily syncs with the users smart device to access all of his capabilities. His story begins with three pillars: Bath Time, Story Time, and Sleepy Time.
Using his built-in temperature sensor, parents can use Edwin to turn red and give out a loud QUACK if the water is too hot when hes placed in the bathtub. When the temperature is just right, hell turn back to his normal yellow. As a waterproof speaker, Edwin can play music from the users smart device, including original songs made specifically for bath time that come with the application.
When its time for bed, parents and children can snuggle up with Edwin and read original animated adventure stories that bring important childhood lessons to life. Edwin will engage with families as they read through each story, quacking and lighting up along the way.
When the lights go out, he can be placed on his nest (charging dock) and used as an LED nightlight. Parents can also play soothing sounds such as white noise, a heartbeat, or one of the many custom recorded lullabies to relax their child as they drift off to sleep.
Edwin the Duck is designed to grow with each child and additional pillars will be integrated into his software as more stories, adventures, and activities are developed.
